SPECIFIC TASKS:
- Monitors the performance of all equipment, gauges and charts in the treatment plant, pump stations, storage pond with aerators, and irrigation fields.
- Records statistical data concerning plant operations.
- Maintains, operates, repairs, and replaces equipment as necessary.
- Perform daily operations of field pivots as required to maintain storage pond level.
- Charts lab test results for trend analysis and maintains accurate records of analyses and test results.
- Evaluates data and issues weekly report to plant engineer.
- Collects samples and identifies concentrations of chemical, physical or biological characteristics of wastewater required in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Performs quality control tests on lab equipment and lab analyses.
- Maintain a clean work area
- Any problems should be reported immediately to Supervisor.
- Perform any other task as directed by the Supervisor.
- Comply with Company policies and safety requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Class C or above wastewater operators license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Work with moving parts / equipment.
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
- Able to speak, read and write effectively in English.
