Unloader / Material Handler (Inbound & Outbound)
Location: Ellabell, GA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Available Shifts
- Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Sunday Wednesday: 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Wednesday Saturday: 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Monday- Friday: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
Mandatory overtime is currently required for all shifts. Applicants must be flexible to work overtime as scheduled.
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Unloaders/Material Handlers to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading freight, wrapping pallets, and accurately moving materials in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight safely and efficiently.
- Lift and move materials weighing 75+ pounds on a consistent basis.
- Wrap pallets to prepare shipments for storage or transportation.
- Use an RF scanner to accurately track inventory and shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience using an RF scanner is required.
- Experience operating a Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, or Electric Pallet Jack is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation are required.
- Team-oriented with a positive work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to consistently lift 75+ pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
