Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking, packing, and staging materials
Operate forklifts to move insulation products safely throughout the warehouse
Load and unload delivery trucks in a timely manner
Verify shipping paperwork for accuracy before shipments leave the facility
Inspect products for damage and report issues to management
Maintain clean and organized shipping and storage areas
Follow all company safety procedures
Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure on-time shipments

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience
Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math and reading skills for shipping documents
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills

Experience with shipping software or warehouse management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of safe material handling procedures

Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and industrial equipment. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times.
