Key Responsibilities:

1. Package Preparation: Receive and review orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare packages for delivery by selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling, and securing items.

2. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory system, including tracking and documenting incoming and outgoing goods. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.

3. Shipment Processing: Utilize the UPS system, Starship or other online shipping portals to process shipments efficiently. Generate shipping labels, invoices, and other necessary documentation.

4. Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage or defects before shipment and address any discrepancies. Ensure that goods are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

5. Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, including warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and customer service, to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Communicate any shipment-related issues or delays promptly.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols in the warehouse environment. Operate equipment, such as forklifts or other material handling machinery, following safety procedures, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

7. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of shipped and received items, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and customer information. Keep shipping and receiving logs up to date.

8. Problem Resolution: Address any shipping-related issues, such as missing items, delivery errors, or customer complaints, in a prompt and professional manner. Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.

9. Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline shipping processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
