Location: Vidalia, GA
Pay: $13.00
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Performs a variety of shipping and receiving clerical tasks. Compares identifying information on incoming and outgoing shipments with purchase orders, packing lists, shipping reports, or other documents. Performs material handling functions as needed.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shipping/Receiving
o Prepares Daily Shipment Paperwork.
o Ship orders in the computer system that have been prepared.
o Prepares shipments for UPS/FedEx and DHL.
o Prepares and prints bill of lading. to ensure quantity, destination and etc. are accurate
o Export documentation and logistics, as needed
o Prepares all labels (shipping, box, barcode, and warning) for shipping.
o Receive all incoming freight into ERP.
o Coordinates/Perform inbound inspections
o Maintains files.
o Operates office machinery.
o Active participation in committees
o Active participation in continuous improvement I Power
o May operate forklift as needed
Warehouse
o Receives and store raw material
o Distributes requested raw material to production associates
o Organizes and maintains warehouse
Production
o Assists in machine operation as necessary
Inventory Management
o Cycle Counting
o Scheduling
o Completion
o Reconciling variances
o Investigating and long term corrective action on discrepancies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
EDUCATION &/or CERTIFICATIONS:
High school Diploma or GED
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE &/or SKILLS:

Ability to measure and weigh.
RF scanner and ERP/MRP experience preferred.
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions to be able to calculate square footage, etc.
Must be able to read a ruler to within 1/16 of an inch and accurately use a calculator, to measure and calculate. Computer proficiency with MS Office.
Forklift certification preferred
