Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6;00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (mandatory overtime when needed)
Pay rate : $13.50/hr
Tasks:
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment and processing facilities.
- Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
- Ensure all chemicals are used at proper concentrations.
- Wash and maintain buckets, containers, and the sanitary state of the Chemical Room.
- Perform recycling and trash removal from production lines, trash pickup from grounds/plant, cardboard, and plastic baling according to specific job tasks.
- Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, foamers, cleaning equipment and tools.
- Be at the forefront of the plant housekeeping with duties such as cleaning break rooms, clean lobby, clean offices, clean labs, clean restrooms, clean workshops (other duties as assigned (cleaning parking lot, clean shipping docks, etc).
- Lock out Tag out required equipment and document according to OSHA and plant policies and procedures.
- Work safely with the chemicals used in the cleaning process.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Follow all company SSOPs.
- Adhere to all company GMPs and Safety Policies.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Able to perform labor duties when required
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
