Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Interpret and comply with quality assurance standards. Oversee the implementation and ensure efficiency of inspection and quality systems. Interface with other departments to address and resolve "day-to-day" issues. Perform root cause analysis in a team environment and facilitate corrective measures. Monitor and maintain layered process and component audits. Identify and collect data to measure cost of quality and provide the basis for continuous improvement. Contribute to the Management Review process through data analysis, metrics, reports and charts. Gather and organize statistical quality data, inspect data to detect areas for improvement. Develop and execute QA training programs across all functional areas. Provide quality project support as needed. Responsible for maintaining the external field Quality Alert program. Analyze customer grievances and determine root cause and corrective actions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Perform cabinet performance, material, parts, hardware testing as needed per established protocols. Ability to work with basic inspection and testing equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Pin gauges, load cell, joint strength tester, etc.). Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
