Material Handlers
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from production areas, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing materials in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated areas using equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
2. Load and unload trucks with materials for delivery or storage.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
4. Organize materials in the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate easy access.
5. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
6. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
