Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate: $18+

Location: Lyons, GA.

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift 5:45AM - Until

Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays Required) 

Temp to Full Time

A. KEY RESULTS:

Maintain all labels and packing machines in safe, normal operating condition. Production down time due to mechanical breakdowns minimized. Equipment changes are done in a quick and efficient manner. Comply with Company policies and safety procedures.

B. SPECIFIC TASKS:

(Describe the tasks in as detailed steps as possible) 1. Report to work area and see Supervisor for assignments. 2. Check the job assignment board for instructions when necessary. 3. Work on assigned projects when requested. 4. Return completed work order to Supervisor. 5. Repair all Label & Casing equipment breakdown problems. 6. Adjust timing and speed on Pack-masters, bundlers, or packaging equipment. 7. Setup all equipment for different can size and carton size. 8. Repair and complete PM tasks as required for any equipment in Label & Casing. 9. Rebuild equipment to new standards as assigned. 10. Monitor Label & Casing machines compliance with safety work procedures at all times. 11. Store all flammable hazard materials in designated safety storage. 12. Keep the work area and shop clean and tidy. 13. Perform any other task as directed by the Supervisor. 14. Comply with Company policies and safety requirements. 15. Never put your hands in moving equipment!

C. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience in industrial field and a quick learner. 2. Able to lift heavy equipment / carry tools and work safely. 3. Mush have knowledge of all running equipment such as labeling and packaging machines. 4. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends. 5. Knowledge of basic skills: read ruler 50 1/6 , use gas/electric welding, use electric and pneumatic power tools. 6. Able to communicate effectively in English.
