Pack Room Mechanic (Seamer Experience Preferred)

SelecSource is now hiring a dependable and reliable Pack Room Mechanic. This role is critical to maintaining production efficiency and product quality.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 4:00 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
Mandatory Saturdays and overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and maintain packers, seamers, and associated equipment for production
- Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Operate, calibrate, inspect, and troubleshoot seamers (preferred)
- Monitor equipment during production and respond quickly to breakdowns
- Conduct routine inspections, including seam checks and quality verification
- Complete all required maintenance logs and documentation accurately
- Ensure machines are clean, safe, and production-ready at all times
- Support production goals while maintaining food safety, quality, and GMP standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined and quick learner
- Experience working with rotating, packing, and/or seamer equipment preferred
- Experience with industrial equipment, including forklifts, man lifts, conveyors, and other material handling equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, carry tools, and work safely
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
