Perform a variety of basic repair and maintenance tasks on the building and its systems, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, welding and cleaning. Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on equipment and facilities. Work shall be done in a quick and efficient manner. Comply with Company policies and safety procedures.

B. SPECIFIC TASKS:

  1. Report to work area and see Supervisor for assignments.
  2. Inspect the building, grounds, and equipment.
  3. Install equipment and appliances.
  4. Maintain a maintenance log, daily reports of completed assignments.
  5. Read and follow manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
  6. Perform work using equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, welding, and plumbing tools.
  7. Check the job assignment board for instructions when necessary.
  8. Work on assigned projects when requested.
  9. Return completed work order to Supervisor.
  10. Repair and complete PM tasks as required for any equipment as assigned.
  11. Store all flammable hazardous materials in designated safety storage areas.
  12. Load and unload equipment and tools into work vehicles if necessary.
  13. Keep the work area and shop clean and tidy.
  14. Perform any other task as directed by the Supervisor.
  15. Comply with Company policies and safety requirements.
  16. Never put your hands in moving equipment!


C. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience in industrial field and a quick learner.
  2. Able to lift heavy equipment / carry tools and work safely.
  3. Must have experience in General Maintenance.
  4. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends.
  5. Knowledge of basic skills: read ruler 50 1/6 , use gas/electric welding, use electric and pneumatic power tools.
  6. Able to communicate effectively in English.
