Electrical Construction Workers Needed in Fayetteville, GA.
Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, Building and installing conduit, installing wiring and fixtures, testing systems, and troubleshooting problems to ensure safety and compliance with codes and regulations. This skilled trade requires physical dexterity, strong problem-solving skills, and close collaboration with other construction professionals.
Position also requires comfort in heights, as they will be trained to use/operate Scissor Lifts.
Key Responsibilities
Installation:
Wiring new electrical systems, installing light fixtures, outlets, and other components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
System Design & Planning:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to understand and execute the project's electrical layout.
Testing:
Inspecting and testing electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers to ensure they are in proper working order.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety regulations to ensure the construction site and the completed electrical system are safe for everyone.
Troubleshooting:
Identifying and diagnosing electrical problems using testing devices, then applying critical thinking to find and implement the best solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using hand and power tools for electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Tape measures.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for proper installation and to prevent mistakes.
Physical Dexterity:
The ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work with tools in a variety of positions.
