Warehouse Team Lead

Location:Pooler, Ga.

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations and help guide a high-performing team. This role oversees warehouse staff in completing daily activities such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control while supporting leadership with operational planning and team development.

The Warehouse Team Lead is a working leadership role, responsible for both supervising team members and working alongside them to ensure productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to warehouse employees based on workload and experience
• Support operational and financial goals by maintaining productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Maintain warehouse organization, floor space utilization, and housekeeping following 5S principles
• Assist with new employee onboarding and training
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and physical counts
• Act as a Safety Champion and change agent to promote a safe and efficient work environment
• Secure the warehouse facility by managing alarm systems and locking procedures
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines
• Train and certify equipment operators on the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment
• Provide coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor during PTO or absences (excluding payroll and disciplinary actions)
• Work alongside the warehouse team to complete operational tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or 3PL leadership experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Effective problem-solving skills and root cause analysis abilities
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs without equipment assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of equipment during shifts
• Ability to operate computers and office equipment regularly
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures (not climate-controlled)
• Occasional work outdoors in varying weather conditions
