Job Title: VAS Associate
Location: Lyons
Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday Thursday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Fridays, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Overtime may be mandatory when required and schedules may change during busy or peak seasons.
Job Summary
The VAS Associate is responsible for performing various value-added services on apparel items to prepare them for distribution and retail. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a quiet and focused environment, and the ability to complete repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Fold, iron, and steam clothing items to meet presentation and quality standards.
Apply price tags and labels accurately.
Sort and organize clothing by item type, size, or order requirements.
Bag garments and prepare them for shipment or distribution.
On the receiving end, enter item numbers into the system to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Maintain organization and cleanliness within the work area.
Follow company procedures and productivity expectations.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a quiet production environment that requires focus and attention to detail.
Tasks may be repetitive and require consistent accuracy.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs when necessary.
Ability to perform repetitive motions such as folding, tagging, and bagging clothing items.
