Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Pack products according to specific guidelines and instructions provided by the supervisor.
2. Label and seal packages accurately and neatly to ensure the correct identification and protection of products during transportation.
3. Operate packaging machinery and equipment, such as heat sealers and labeling machines, efficiently and safely.
4. Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
5. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all packed products meet the company's standards and customer requirements.
6. Maintain a clean and organized packing room, ensuring that all packaging materials are stored properly and waste is disposed of correctly.
7. Collaborate with the warehouse team to coordinate the timely delivery of packed products to the shipping area.
8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
9. Assist in other areas of the production process as required, including product assembly, sorting, and inspection.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in a similar role as a Packing Room Worker or related position.
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Basic math skills to ensure accurate counting and measurement of products.
5. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
6. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
