JOB RESPONSIBILITES include but not limited to the following duties. Other duties may be assigned. Set-up line, hang parts, vacuum water, plug/mask Stack down parts on pallets using correct packing material May be asked to help in the paint room or inspect area Identify and touch-up parts May be asked to perform multiple jobs in a day /or from day to day Perform quality inspection at each stage of the process Read & follow work center job instructions Read & accurately interpret work orders and customer prints. Any problems must be brought to the attention of the Team Leader Stay alert to the parts on the conveyor Maintain productivity and efficiency Follow safety procedures Perform daily housekeeping Attend department meetings daily Encourage, implement, and support continuous improvement within the department Assist in training personnel as needed Others job requirements as Paint Coordinator shall delegate Get along with other employees Hang a unique number at the beginning of every work order run Write that unique number on the work order Work order has to be carried to the paint line inspector Parts requiring masking, hang an M at the beginning of the work order run with the unique number as noted above QUALIFICATIONS To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform the job responsibilities effectively. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Successful completion of initial 90-day probationary period Effective communicating in English both orally and in written form CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED Hazardous Material Training Blueprint Reading Certification if applicable Hearing Protection Training Forklift License will be required if the employee operates a forklift. PHYSICAL DEMANDS 100% of the job positions day is spent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and/or lifting weights up to 50 pounds and lifting over their heads. WORK ENVIRONMENT Exposure to machinery vibration and noise, high summer temperatures & humidity, and cold winter temperatures are part of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Depending on the work center assigned additional protective equipment may be required Ear protection (ear plugs) Eye protection (safety glasses) Gloves Safety footwear (steel toe shoe) Read the Employee Handbook for additional Safety Requirements.
