Job Description
Assure sufficient supplies are available for each code of product to be run. Comply with Company Safety, Food Safety, Security procedures and training requirements. Maintain a current inventory of all materials needed for label and casing.
1. Supply correct labels and cartons to each line according to the UPC scheduled as instructed by Supervisor. 2. Remove unused labels and cartons from production area and return all unused items to storage area. Maintain records of all Daily Removals & Returns. 3. Record and report labels usage and damage daily by the end of shift to production planner. 4. Record and report cartons usage and damage daily by the end of shift to production planner. 5. Keep all lines clear of labels not being used in working area. 6. Maintain an inventory of all critical supplies used on weekly basis. 7. Report any inventory shortage or reduce inventory to production planner as needed 8. Do a daily inventory of materials stored in production cage. 9. Clean up all spills that may occur in the material storage area as needed. 10. Keep Allergens and Non Allergens separate at all times and marked. 11. Provide materials in storage area for production personnel as needed 12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor 13. Comply with company policies and safety requirements.
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent 2. Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience 3. Able to read and communicate in English. 4. Knowledge of production cans codes, product UPC and Label codes. 5. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends 6. Able to drive a Forklift when required 7. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends. Any employee who has not received written disciplinary action during the previous 180 days is qualified to apply on higher or lateral jobs.
