Administrative Customer Service Reps (Background Screening Operations)

Position Type: Temporary (January - April) with potential for permanent placement

Location: Hazlehurst, GA

Pay: $12 $14 per hour

Schedule: Monday Friday, with some Saturdays required (High-volume workload, collaborative team environment)

Work Environment: On-site Only (Not a remote position)

Job Summary You will conduct thorough background checks on candidates and clients using various databases and systems. You will also be responsible for checking references, handling high-volume phone calls, and managing data using Microsoft, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools. Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication skills are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct background checks and verify candidate information
  • Check references and document outcomes
  • Handle high-volume incoming and outgoing calls
  • Use online databases, public records, and internal systems to gather data
  • Enter, organize, and update information accurately in Excel
  • Create reports and spreadsheets to track results and progress
  • Communicate with candidates and clients professionally Maintain confidentiality and follow all compliance standards
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Work some Saturdays (schedule to be determined)


Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data sorting, formulas, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong phone presence and ability to handle high call volume
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior experience in background checks, HR, or customer service preferred
  • Must be available to work some Saturdays
