Job Title: General Labor
Location: Port Wentworth, GA
Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.00
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift
Job Type: Full time/ Temp- to- Hire
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
All janitorial duties within the warehouse, yard and office areas as directed. These duties include, but not limited to sweeping, moping, picking up dunnage and debris from the warehouse floor, dumping and sanitizing trash cans.
Responsible for cleaning and removing hazards and debris from rail cars, containers, and other equipment.
Responsible for keeping supply levels in the proper areas for efficiencies and safety.
Ability to perform simple maintenance items when requested within the warehouse and yard.
Must be able to assist and rig lifting equipment to perform various tasks when lifting break bulk commodities.
Must be able to operate tools to include, but not limited to hand and pneumatic bander, tensioner, hammer, crowbar, hand and electric saws, air compressor and other various tools.
Must be able to hand stack, load and unload various freight types such as lumber, cartons, bags, totes, etc.
Must be capable of installing air bags properly with air compressor and install blocking and bracing. Comply with all company rules, policies, and procedures. Work and behave safely by following all safety rules and regulations.
Perform any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
Shifts:
Monday through Friday, Weekends and Holidays if necessary based on customer demands.
Day Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Second Shift: 4:00pm to 12:30am
