SelecSource is hiring for a Parts Sales Representative in the Flowery Branch area. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience with part sales for heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.) and/or customer service-related experience as a technical parts representative or field service technician.

 

The ideal candidate will be willing to work hard with a sense of urgency. Candidates must have reliable transportation, flexible availability, and be able to pass a drug and background screen.

 

Job Responsibilities:

This business-to-business sales position is responsible to re-establish, qualify and maintain contact with customers to increase sales of  spare parts for mulching and construction attachments including:

   Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in the USA territory.  Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold calls, presentations, direct mail, promotional campaign, and following up on leads for new business. Customers/Dealers are in the mulching and construction business

   Manage an account base of 400 accounts, develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.  Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.

   Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports and customer correspondence.

   Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers in order to seek new business and enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with service and parts support and by responding to customer concerns or requests.

   Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.  Discuss sales activities with management.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

   A four year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred: or 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.


SKILLS/ABILITIES:

   Minimum of 3 years of parts sales for heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.) and customer service-related experience required as a technical parts representative or field service technician.

   Must have sufficient mechanic knowledge to understand customer heavy equipment's

   Strong customer service skills

   Strong computer skills including, but not limited to: excel, word, and CRM software.

   Excellent organizational skills

   Excellent time management skills

   Strong phone skills

   Must have sales skills to help the customer and to overcome objections and close the sale.

   Must be a motivated self-starter.

   Must have interpersonal skills to assist customers and employees in a professional manor.
