Job Description
Job Title: Payroll/ Settlement Clerk
Pay Rate: $17.00- $19.00hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday- Friday)
Job Type: Full time/ Temp-to-hire
Shift:
- Monday through Friday 8-5pm, overtime and some weekend work may be required and alternating holidays with exception of Christmas, Thanksgiving
Job Details:
- Complete Driver settlement weekly for 140+ drivers
- Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
- Transportation and/or financial experience preferred
- Answer/ return drivers call
- Possibility of partially remote work
- Trouble shoot, self starter and team player
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong technical skills in payroll such as deductions, taxes, reporting, laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with intermediate skills in Excel
Must possess strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to research complex payroll issues and implement solutions on an independent basis
