Pay Rate: $17.00- $18.00
Shift: 1st (Some weekends)
Job Type: Full time
Responsible for multiple talks involving the take down of used commercial doors and/or equipment, installation of new commercial doors, operators, equipment and multiple service categories on doors, operators and associated equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
Maintain an orderly warehouse.
Load and pre-stage installer jobs.
Unload trucks and rotate material for shortages and damages.
Complete work orders assigned by warehouse manager.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. One to three months related installation or construction experience is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before customers or other employees.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to read a tape measure and covert nominal measurements.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Comments
Understand the safe use of equipment and tools in compliance with OSHA standards.
Need to be mechanically inclined.
Capable of working at heights using ladders and scissor lifts.
