SelecSource has an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic Technician.  This candidate must have a solid electrical background.  Starting pay is between $ 22.00 - $ 26.00 per hour. This shift requires a flexible schedule.

This position requires understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprints as well as knowledge of company and electrical state and federal codes.  Candidates must be able to read and make proper installation of semi-complex electrical circuits from wiring diagrams as instructed.

Must be able to install all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment.

        Ensures that PM and repair work are performed in accordance with AIB and P principals

        Is able to read diagrams and troubleshoot

        Must possess working knowledge of:

o   Mig/Tig welding equipment

o   Arc welding equipment

o   Gas cutting and plasma cutting

o   Drill presses, cut off saws, lathes, mills and table tools

o   Voltmeters, Ohmmeters, Magyar and Ammetters

o   Air and hydraulic machine systems

o   Installation and repair of electrical conduits, cable, piping and tubing

o   Dust and fume collectors and performs necessary repairs on these items as directed

o   Simple rigging whenever needed for equipment movement and relocation

o   Lubricants for various types of machines and adds lubricants as necessary

o   At least 1 year of Press, food service and flour systems

o   How to operate mobile lift truck with ability to work on repairs if needed


        Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pump, valve, and allied mechanical equipment when directed or when directly related to electrical trouble shooting.

        Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles electrical motors, relays, timers, and all allied electrical equipment.

        Operates mobile lift truck and hoisting in the performance of maintenance work.  Must have forklift operators license.

        Help maintain spare parts inventory for plant as directed by checking out parts form parts room, using parts ordering procedure, and restocking inventory.

        Help maintain shop areas and parts room clean and orderly.

        Must adhere to and obey all plant safety rules and regulations and wear all personal protective equipment as directed.

        Follow (LO/TO) all Safety procedures and Company Safety Policy.
