We are currently seeking an experienced Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Measure and cut materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision in all framing tasks.
2. Assemble and erect wooden or metal frameworks using hand tools and power tools, ensuring structural integrity.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans to determine the dimensions and layout of framing components.
4. Install doors, windows, and other fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
5. Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Framer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
